'Cardiff City are in a four-way race for the final play-off spot but must start winning,' says Ian Holloway
SKY SPORTS
18th Feb 2016
The Sky Sports pundit believes the Bluebirds are in a four-way race to secure the final play-off spot despite a disappointing run of results
Championship expert Ian Holloway has claimed Cardiff City CAN make it into the play-offs after predicting a four-way scrap for one final place in the top six.
But he has warned the Bluebirds need to start turning draws into wins to do it – and reckons that won't happen against fellow promotion chasers Brighton this weekend.
Holloway, who led Blackpool to a play-off promotion at the expense of Cardiff in 2010, will be with Sky Sports for Saturday's early afternoon clash in South Wales as Russell Slade's side look to grab a victory following back-to-back draws with struggling sides.

Don't think he has said one bad thing about us I bet if he was offered to manage us he would take it.

Mind you,I remember him saying a few weeks ago when he was talking about Slade.Very complimentary about him saying that Russ had a very tough job at Cardiff and that Cardiff was a tough club to manage because of fans expectation. If you read between the lines I'm not sure he fancied it.

Born and bred pirate so there's a good chance he doesn't like Bristol City and just like us fans there is a bit of a mutual liking between Rovers and Cardiff.

One of my mates had a chat with him at one of the away games, believe it was Birmingham when it was live on Sky Sports, during HT Hollows was out by the pitch, and when my mate asked him about the City job, he said he would jump at the chance as he really likes our club.

Achieved few years back Bellamy said that when he moved into coaching he would follow Ian Holloway's model of attacking football when he was at Blackpool.
Not a bad partnership should Bellamy need a more experienced head to help out.

He is quality.
He speaks sense, is humorous and a proper character.
He may have got one over us at Blackpool but I am sure he thinks that that made up for us beating QPR in the Milstad and back in the day beating Rovers at Ninian to stop them going up.
Incidentally he is right - we need to start winning but sadly that run should have continued post Huddersfield.
Looking at our fixtures, it is too late now to even contemplate a winning run. We haven't had one all season and we are not going to start now.

So would I, plays attractive football has a great eye for talent, young emerging ones too.
Totally wasted as a pundit and would enthuse the Club, players and fans

Media Buffoon.
Has absolutely no loyalty to any club he has been with.

I've just googled some of his quotes again and most of them are priceless.
Reporter - "Ian.have you got any injury worries?" Holloway - "No, I'm fully fit, thank you".
Sat Feb 20, 2016 12:09 am
On Cristiano Ronaldo: “He’s six foot something, fit as a flea, good looking – he’s got to have something wrong with him. Hopefully he’s hung like a hamster – That would make us all feel better. Having said that, me missus has got a pet hamster at home, and his cock’s massive.”
