GUNTER NEARING NEW DEAL

Reading defender Chris Gunter is close to agreeing a new contract with the club, according to the Reading Chronicle.
The 26-year-old joined the Royals from Nottingham Forest in 2012 but is out of contract in the summer. However, he has expressed his desire to say at the Madejski Stadium and an agreement is thought to be very close.
