Swansea winger Jefferson Montero could be on his way to Middlesbrough on loan, WalesOnline report.
The Ecuadorian made an excellent start to the season but has found himself out of favour of late and is now thought to be weighing up a move to the north east after Boro boss Aitor Karanka expressed an interest.
Montero is even believed to be considering making a permanent move to the Riverside Stadium in the summer if Middlesbrough are promoted.
