i'm not sure I understand the logic behind 2 teams from the opposite ends of the country playing on a week night.

A Tuesday night? I went to Hull this season and we had barely 110 fans in attendance, put this game on a Sat and they would of got 20,000

So if we would have played last night gone two points clear at the top no one would have moaned about only getting 17000?

For us at this moment in time, it would be a miracle for us to get a 17,000 plus crowd

We have not been in the bottom half all season and have even been 6th, yet most Saturday's are home and away crowds are in the bottom 2, for me this is shocking

We always had good away support years ago and we were known for it :ayatollah:

Blackburns a village compared to Cardiff and our catchment area and a big part of their population have never been in to football.
In the 80's Blackburn would bring only 50 fans to Cardiff.

I agree Pompey and Norwich fantastic fans and loyal to the end :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Guess hull doesn't have great home crowd? We have 14k with very little away fans input, dont forget hull were at top of league!

The season we won the league we played Brighton at Home on Tuesday 19th February. We were top and Brighton were in 7th place - attendance 23782. Last night the cheapest adult ticket for Home fans was £30 and on this Saturday our fans can buy an adult ticket for £20 in the Canton Stand.

Ticket prices are a big issue with Hull fans as is the owner and "Hull Tigers" but as a direct comparison it looks to me that at £10 cheaper per adult ticket, against the same opposition, our club is doing it's very best to offer affordable prices.

Still I don't fancy our chances of getting 17,000 on Saturday. Why?

I get your point it does seem low.
Though in comparison in their promotion year 12/13 their ave attendance was 17368.
Their highest attendance was against city 23812.

The average the previous season was 18790. So avtually it fell in their promotion year.

In the premier league they averaged 24000

So not a great crowd but about average for them.

I never see you at away games Wez?

I will be at Boro away next Tuesday night and have always turned up to watch my club No matter what Division or previous results we have had, plus 43 consecutive years as a season ticket holder.
How many years consecutive have you had a season ticket for Wez?
