Cardiff City winger Matthew Kennedy wants to stay on loan at Port Vale until the end of the season

The former Everton youngster has started all five games since making the temporary switch in January



Kennedy showed some promising form in the last campaign

Cardiff City winger Matthew Kennedy has confirmed that he hopes to extend his so far successful loan spell at Port Vale.

Kennedy had made just two appearances for the Bluebirds before making the temporary switch in January, but has started all five games for The Vale since.

Kennedy told the Stoke Sentinel: "The more games you get, the better you play and the more fitness you get.

Yea fair play to Kennedy he wants first team football not to keep the bench warm, personally I thought he should of been starting for the city.

Good for him (in the shop window) I'm guessing, but I don't see that as a good sign for his City future, tbh :(

Yes, good for him. Although I would like him to be here, much better than Ameobi.

With Noone injured and Ameobi suspended he needs to recalled for Saturday's team

Good to see him getting games, Slade clearly as an issue with him or his ability, he couldn't even get on in one of the carling cup games. Better he is out on loan getting some games, Think he was MOTM sat as well?

I think he was and every player wants to feel 'the love' from his manager. But not too sure he (or certain others) gets it from Russell Slade :(

Unbelievable this guy is out on loan...to be fair to him he's done really well every time I have seen him..adds a different dimension to our team...how he is not in our squad week in week out is beyond me....yet another reason why I have no faith in Slade as a manager
