Tue Feb 16, 2016 9:21 am

What does everybody think the gate will be sat with Brighton even though it's being shown live on sky, and after tans meeting is anybody expected a bumper crowd or will it be the usual attendance for the season so far. What's your views on the subject.??

I reckon about 14,500 incl well over 1,000 Brighton fans.

With all the good news and everyone saying unite, it should be 18,000-20,000

Yea I think it will be more than we have been getting but nowhere near where it should be, fingers crossed though we may be surprised.

It could go either way.

Hopefully around 15,000 but being realistic it's more likely to be closer to 11/12,000.

Like you say, its an early kick off and live on Sky.

With everyone virtually saying on here that everyone is happy etc, then we should see a good increase in home attendances :ayatollah: :bluebird:

Wez, that's great to hear :ayatollah: I did read though in one of your posts on a topic of mine a few weeks ago that all your friends were still going as they had no problems with what's been going on at our club?

Bumper crowd?

1,000 or so up from Brighton.

On tv.

City cannot score.

Rain is forecast.

12.30 kick off.

14,000 tops.

(Score prediction - 1-1. When did City last beat BHA at home? Bit of a bogey team aren't they?)

12k I say. People will unite when we are top of the league, believe that.

I don't see there being any improvement on the crowd.

If there's one thing recent events has shown us is that the only thing that brings in crowds is Premier League Football or good results irrespective of shirt colour/debt/state of the club.

We are unbeaten in 5 but 3 of those have been draws, 2 of which have been 0-0 and against sides in the bottom 3-4 in the league.

We are looking like a upper mid-table side now. the play offs are still in touch (just) but it is a massive shame that the team could not build on the Huddersfield Win as we would have been right in the mix now.

Chuck in the early kick off and the fact its on Sky and I will go for a lower crowd than the MK Dons game.

What we are getting now we will get regardless, the only thing that will bring back the rest is good results and attractive football

I personally don't think the crowd will be any better as the kids have football on a Saturday morning and it will be a struggle for many to get there for kick off, so I guess they will watch on TV as unfortunately we will have to do.

15,200 if we had not dropped points in the last few games it would be higher

On-line booking system indicates a poor crowd at this stage.

The family end may well be quieter than normal (assuming the parks are on).

I will almost certainly find it impossible to get two of my kids home and showered in time to make it worth going down, so that's a potential 4 empty seats for me (shame, although I will try).

Dont particularly think that Tans announcement will have much bearing at all.
Saturday morning football, live on TV, people away over half term etc etc. With a decent Brighton following I'd expect about 14600

If park football is on then I think a lot of parents with under 16's will stay away......so official I reckon 11,500 but including all season ticket holders about 13,800 :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

They will announce 16k attendance but we know they are liars, it will be 12k tops, probably closer to 10k.

When they announce the crowd at the end of the game I laugh, are we to believe these figures when we are in the ground? I know they add on the season ticket non attenders but please ...spare me are we all to believe this?

Most have been but a couple lost interest since the re-brand and the fact a couple of us were banned for Chelsea but they feel tan has kept to his word now I think the excuses have run out

I don't think the average fan is particularly interested in the financial situation, and probably most won't know the true situation anyway as the debt conversion is ongoing for quite a few years. It is what's happening on the pitch that decides attendances, and whether or not fans think we have any serious prospects of a play off place. I would think we will get the same sort of gate that we have had in most of our recent games, possibly a few more given that Brighton are towards the top, and will probably have a good following themselves.
