" SPURS 4 CCFC UNDER 21'S 0 "

As usual no report from CCFC. This from: http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/news/un ... ty-150216/?

Strikes from Joe Pritchard and Emmanuel Sonupe, with a Will Miller brace in between, saw our young side register a 4-0 win, with Under-21s Coach Ugo seeing plenty of positives in the boys’ performances.
“Training ground games can sometimes be quite sterile but the boys were on it today,” he reflected.
“We had a lot of players not playing in their natural positions but we accounted for that really well. I thought Luke Amos was very good again, as was Anton Walkes – both playing at centre-half – and when you’ve got a team you don’t usually play against who’ve got four or five experienced players dotted around, it’s pleasing to control the match and be exceptionally clinical in our finishing.”

Pritchard opened the scoring on 55 minutes when he curled into the top corner and he was also involved in the build-up three minutes later as Miller made it 2-0 from close range.

Miller scored again on 70 minutes after Anthony Georgiou’s ball in was blocked by a defender before Sonupe produced a sublime finish in the second minute of stoppage time to end the game in style, having earlier missed a simpler chance when the ball came across the six-yard box.
“We probably finished in the harder situations rather than in the ones where you’d think we should score,” Ugo continued. “Harry Voss pulled off two very good saves at key moments, unfortunately he came off towards the end but he did a lot to earn a clean sheet. Cy Goddard got 90 minutes, Joe Pritchard got close to 80 minutes and the pleasing thing was that we had midfielders getting into the box.
“We’ve worked a lot on the movement from crosses in particular areas and that was evident today with people going across the front post and wingers making the back post, so there’s been small improvements and a lot of credit goes to the players for that.”
