Mason, I just watched it and Villa were awful.

They look like a club in a real mess and I don't even think they'll challenge near the top of the Championship next season. Think they'll need a couple of years of stability, but need to be very careful they don't end up being another Leeds and stuck outside the top flight for years.

Not seen a Premier League club been in this much of a mess for years. Nothing to do with managers, but the way their club is run by Lerner.

They are a massive club so a big deal to see them in this state.

As big as the two Sheffield clubs and look what happened to them. They could well be in another relegation battle next season.

My first game at Ninian Park where I was allowed to go with my friends instead of being accompanied by an adult was against Villa. City won 4-0 and Villa were relegated to Div 3 that season.

Agree I think they could go into free fall and end up in league one unless they are careful next year. Relegation this year is a certainty
