5 years before we are debt free ?

Sun Feb 14, 2016 3:45 pm

5 years before we are debt free
Is this a good thing
Or a bad thing
IMO it is a good thing as it means we are pretty secure for the next 5 years
This should allow us to move foreward steadily on a firm footing
After all haven't we all been asking what future plans tan had in mind ,and we as fans deserved to be told
Be reasonable tan has asked just be reasonable
Well it's time we gave him what he asks ,as he has know promised ,or given us back what we have asked

And finally a little bit of itk information dalman has been asked about next seasons season ticket news ,and he has assured us that it's being dealt with by Ken choo and Vincent tan as a priority
And we should get some news soon

So let's all start pulling together ,put the past where it belongs ,in the past, and create a new ,better future, TOGETHER :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Wez as long as we live within our means from now on I will be more than happy
Many football clubs will be envious of us now, and would be so happy to be in the position we are now in
Chances like this don't come around that often for football clubs
We as fans must embrace it now ,if we don't we might just not live long enough to have another go at it ,
Living within our means ,would be greatly helped by getting the lost fans back ,IMO tan has done as much as he can so far ,I hope he can conjure up one more rabbit out of the hat ,and get the season ticketing prices right for next season
Being reasonable as he asks I would suggest £ 50 any where in the ground except corporate areas for under 10year olds £100 for over 10s under 16s
£150 for over 16s under 21s and leave adult/ oaps as of this season
These prices-is defo no reason for not supporting our great club :bluebird: :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

That would be a big ask, and possibly a first. Virtually every Championship club operates at a loss, be very difficult to run a successful club in this league making a profit for one year, never mind five years. Given the greed of the Premier League, it is not going to get any easier.

Steve, I think it is mainly good/positive news and I don't see the 5-year plan as anything other than sound financial planning from Tan

It appears to me that the bulk of the debt being paid off/transferred in to equity is what 'needs' to be paid now in order to fall back within FFP Rules by staggering 5 x £8m (the maximum allowed per season) payments over 5 seasons which will keep the money in his (Tan's) accounts for longer

Some might even call it 'prudent' :ayatollah:
