He is now our only hope of making the play offs imo.
Its clear we are missing a clinical goalscorer and that could be the missing link from us being an average team to a good team and making the play offs.
There is nobody in the squad that is a good enough striker to get us the goals to fire us into the play offs.
None of these clinical goalscorers..
Lawrence
Pilkington
Macheda
Zahore (slade wont play him)
Immers (slade wont play him)
Saadi could be the answer, if he stays fit and slade actually even gives him a chance (which is doubtful aswell slade being slade) saadi could be the goalscorer we are missing. Im not saying he is, but i think hes our only hope now of firing us up the table?
Who agrees? Opinions?

Hard to have an opinion on a player we know very little about. Would have to be based on a few minutes worth of you tube viewing, and one very brief appearance on the pitch. Hope for the best, but in reality we have no idea if he is any good.

Christ, nothing like pressure then.
Give him a starting place for a run of games but to pin these type of hopes on him are the disease of the modern football fan and sadly the norm these days.

We clearly need a goalscorer but is Saadi a good goalscorer?

Slade won't at zohore or immers? Lol bloody hell people will do anything to criticise slade. Zohore has been in Cardiff for a week. Immers started couple of games and looked really rusty.

Yes we have seen very little of him but your missing my point.
Im saying we have no chance of making playoffs at this moment with this bunch of strikers imo.
Im not saying saadi is gonna be good enough or not but what im saying is he is a glimmer of hope.

Its hard not to critisice him giving his record in the transfer market and his tendancy to sign players then keep them on the bench or send them out on loan.
So you are honestly telling me you can see slade starting immers and zahore regularly sometime soon?
We needed to sign players to score goals and win games not keep the bench warm.

Not to put too many expectations on him or anything!

He is probably our best out and out goalscorer when he comes in.

Exactly.

Saw Immers at Huddersfield and he didn't look up to it. He may be good enough given time but it won't be this season.

Would'nt pin all your hopes on Saadi. He averages a goal every four games, and most have not exactly been at the highest level. Even if he can maintain his record in this league, his current stats suggest he is an eleven or twelve goal a season man. Remains to be seen if he can be the answer to our goal scoring problems.

Who you pinning your hopes on then steve?
Saadi has had a 1 in 2 or near 1 in 2 at one or two clubs in france and a very good record at france youth level too.

I agree with you that there is nobody in our squad who can fire us into the play offs. I accepted a long time back that we would be playing Championship football next season. We all know that there is not going to be much cash being splashed out on new players for the next five years, and so the club will have to sniff around for some bargains. I don't see any of our current squad setting the league alight on the goal scoring front, but hopefully we may be able to sign a proven scorer who is coming towards the end of a successful career, or unearth someone like Ernie. Swansea once reached the top division on the back of ex Liverpool players in the later stages of their careers, so we may be able to pick up a couple of older strikers who can still do a job for a year or two.

An intriguing signing for sure but I'm beginning to wonder if Saadi will even play for us this season!

Of course he will, playing a closed doors game this week sometime I believe so I'd expect him in the squad either Saturday or Tuesday.

Yeah. Idriss Saadi and Marco Weymans posted on Twitter saying that they've got Tottenham away today
Mon Feb 15, 2016 7:57 pm
Sorry, Saadi retweeted Weymans' tweet

I'm sure Saadi was the brightest spark.
