increases chances of a new owner?

Well done VT. A huge gesture and outward sign of his commitment..

Am not advocating selling to a new owner, but with a smaller debt does anybody think that we will now be an attractive prospect for potential suitors.

Alternatively, do you think VT'S new found groundswell of support means that we are now confident and happy that he can once again bring success to our club?

Any thoughts guys?

Yes, with improved finances (and hopefully promotion at some stage) the club will inevitably become a more saleable asset. whether that will happen or (if Tan moves forward in a positive way from here on in) not, remains to be seen. However, we do appear, finally, to be moving forward in a more positive way and that just HAS to be good for all concerned with Cardiff City FC! :ayatollah:

Feels quite strange for once feeling good about the club and its prospects.

I think VT will be with us for a number of years even if he takes us into the PL and with all the feeder clubs the future looks bright( am I on about ccfc here)?

Better the devil you know I say. I think Tan is an honourable man deep down. His comments about not wanting to look bad in his own country really struck a chord with me.

Yeah think I mentioned this in another thread

He's made a mess of things wants to eventually leave us in a good place so to not lose face back home

I think if he could do his time over he would have left after the intial play off loss to Blackpool had only invested £6m then

I think VT has learnt a great deal from his mistakes (Re-branding/managerial appointments etc) and has firmly committed to us for the next 5 years.

With the investment he has made I think he will be more prudent with his money in the future but remain with us to see if we can again attain a Premier League position.

If we can it would be from there that he may see some "payback" if he then decides to sell.

I am prepared to let bygones be just that, and after his many u turns and my respect for the fella has grown a bit :bluescarf:
