I've only recently appreciated what a good job he's done.

If he goes at the end of the season, he will come out of it looking better than the club. He can leave with his head held high whatever happens between now and May.

Didn't think I'd ever say this, but it's a yes from me.

Took me a while but yes. Given the fact he's had bugger all in the summer to play with AND arguably he's done the best business in January (with an embargo might I add ), yes think he's done well.

Only thing I'm annoyed with (two things) is formations and his apparent refusal to play the youngsters.

Still think he's underachieved here, don't think he's done an awful job but don't think he's good enough to keep for next season if we are ambitious about getting promoted

I think he's done all that Tan has asked of him. Big earners released, a tight budget to work with and club debts being reduced, and he has kept us in the play off race. I don't think he is the man to take the club forward, time will tell. I would say he is doing all that could have been done given the constraints he has had to work under.

Off the pitch he's done what was asked of him. On the pitch his management has been very average. Hope he moves on in the summer.

I agree with this more or less.
On the pitch his selections, substitutions, tactics and inability to change things has been poor. I think with the squad we've got he could have done better.
But credit to him, he's done a little better than I thought. I predicted 10th.

Agreed. His inability to change tactics before or during a game to suite the players he has at his disposal will hold us back.

He's maintained a team spirit though despite all the upheaval after the mess he inherited.

For some reason i saw the light 3 weeks ago and realised shit its not this guys fault we are we are he's just the fall guy. Upon reflection yes but please not a long term appointment :bluescarf:

He's done an satisfactory job I would say. His reliance on the 4-4-2 until recently has been a major downfall but he's addressed that, even though injuries forced him into it, and it seems we could have turned a corner now and who knows where we will end up. To those that are still critical of him, trust me, we could be stuck with someone a lot worse!

NO... I still believe he should have done better than this with the squad he inherited, not forgetting the poor signings he's made..

Fully agree with this. Still think we should be top six with the players we got and yes you have to earn that right. My opinion is the same, he is a decent bloke etc. Like carl said 10 points dropped.

Yes he has in all honesty he has proven himself to be a safe championship manager but a promotion chasing one remains to be seen hopefully he is. :thumbright: :ayatollah:

For the Club he has, on the field he hasn't, i do now accept he has been working with his tied behind his back, however on thre pitch not good enough, No Plan B, that said recently he has done a lot better, good luck to him if does leave at the end of season :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
