No such thing as a plastic. If you pay your hard earned you are supporter of the team. Apparently many so called supporters no longer go as they have no stomach for a fight. When things get tough they disappear and whinge on message boards.

Yes there were plastic fans there.. I knew a few who were Everton and Liverpool supporters who bought a season ticket for 2 seasons before we made the Prem.

They never went to majority of games, went to most Prem games and never renewed when we went down.

People follow success and atmosphere and passion... take one of these away and you will lose a few, take 2 or 3 away and you will lose thousands

Plastics is a ridiculous term, if people choose to come and watch the club for one season, because they fancied watching Premier League football, is it really any skin off the nose of the die hard fans, who, quite rightly were able to secure their seat via their season ticket renewal as a priority?

Just concentrate on your own enjoyment of the club and leave the other fans do their own thing, if they want to leave 5 minutes before full time, or drink the beer in the stadium when the players are on the field, who gives a f**k, each to their own.

I wonder why I highlighted the word "PLASTIC"...a term used ....for f**k sake

Well said, Gavin

Not so sure about the early leavers, though. Missed some exciting finishes (win, draw or lose) this season alone and it sort of beggars the question "Why come in the first place if you are going to miss the conclusion?" :?

If we're 3-0 up or down (it has to be at least that these days!) that would make a difference, of course ;)

I have to agree. Not so long ago 13500 would have been considered as an amazing attendance now its the number of die hard supporters.

As part of his one-man mission to kill off any atmosphere in the stadium, I am convinced that Wayne Nash now laces all the drinks with valium. There is a picture in his office that says 'Safety First, Fun Last'.

Because we are so spread out and singers spread around between parts of canton, Ninian etc . Also not loud enough banter with away fans. .... too far apart
