Bringing back the atmosphere

Fri Feb 12, 2016 9:48 am

Just wondered everybody's views on having a section of the ground like I've seen at crystal palace and at celtic with the green brigade where they adopt the ultra style fan base with amazing atmosphere and colour and it really is something that helps give the stadium a massive lift, been to palace a few times and the noise by this crowd is deafening and the passion is there for all to see the flags the banners it is a sight that never left me and wished cardiff had such passionate fans. Has anyone ever thought of starting up a group as such? We could even sneak a few flares in. :-D

Didn't you see the flags that we spent 2 grand!? It was a visual extravaganza...

It just seems to me we all want a better atmosphere and yes we might only get an average of 13000 or what ever it is but we are the 13000 who don't sing and are silent throughout. We are the ones in the stadium so maybe need to look at ourselves a bit more and not blame the fans who stay away because you can't create an atmosphere if your not there.

I think the people who mock the suggestion are the people who stand all over the ground arms folded and playing on their phones. That's not support you may as well stayed away like the other thousands.

13k (it's less than that more likely) in a 20k stadium could make some formidable noise and a great atmosphere. Under 13k in a 33k stadium with a massive big f**k off empty red stand looming over everyone, no chance.

Do you agree though it only takes a few hundred boys bang on it to create an atmosphere when the away fans out sing a home crowd there is something deeply wrong. We are in the stands we need to step up with maximum effort.

You are right.
Quality more important than quantity.

100 or so who really sing with passion can make enough noise.

Get it going and often more will join in
