From what I see

Slade is good in areas for Tans remoteness that could make him director of football in Tans eyes?!?

I think that the Bellamy tidal wave is potentially a good one to surf on but with Slades old head in the background maybe?!?

We've got a great coach in Trollope. We need an experienced manager, who has done it and been there....Pearson would be perfect. Tan supports Slade despite his obvious faults.

Slade's signings have been poor. His brand of football has been utterly disgraceful at time. He has built a brick wall between our development squad and our senior squad.

I personally cannot imagine a worse candidate for Director of Football. That said, a strong first team manager might limit Slade's influence.

Christ. Cornelius only played 90 minutes and did not score. Not given much chance there (due to injury).
But what about David Marshall? He must have played 200 games, and not even had a shot on target, never mind score. :laughing6: :laughing6:

As for Slade. He inherited a good talented squad and has failed to achieve anything, and I doubt if he ever will.
Tan likes him because he is cheap and does exactly what Tan wants. He is Tans bitch.

It all depends on "what is good for the club" so we have to wait and see.

Next move will be for marshall to kick the ball long into the opposite penalty box where 11 city players just need a strike on goal
