My father and grandfather used to work in the same pit, Penallta as Grahams father. Sometimes they would all travel down to ninian park together on the train, Graham would go and get changed while they had a pint. After the game they sometimes travelled back up together on the train with Graham and his girlfriend, he did not have a car....!!!!!!! how times have changed. Graham Scored the winning goal against Aston Villa that got us promoted to the old 1st div after Chelsea he went to man utd and Charlton as well as a few lower league clubs. I believe he settled in Scarbrough after buying a business there. He played over 20 times for wales and im sure he enjoyed our qualification for the euros.
R.I.P.

I always remember my late father talking about that game, & the goal he scored v Villa to gain promotion.

He's the type of player that I feel our current first team could do with now.

For the records, Graham Moore was born Hengoed (Cascade) 7/03/1941. Played Cardiff City 1958/61, Chelsea, Man Utd, Northampton T, Charlton A, & Doncaster R. He played 21 times for Wales, scoring 1 goal.

RIP.
