Looking at our squad and the players signed is obvious that we now have three players whose best position is as a number ten - Pilks, Immers and Lawrence. It's great that we've finally got away from the big man/ little man obsession, or the fact you must have a big lump up front as a target. Yesterday ,in the first half especially, we were still playing as though Pilkington was this target man. In order to make the best of what we've got I think we should play 4--3-3 , which can change to 4-5-1 against better teams away from home. At present, we're tending to waste what we have got. However, I can't see this happening.
