HASSELBAINK WANTS 'NORMALITY'
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink says he hopes to “bring normality” back to QPR by signing more players like Nasser El Khayati.
El Khayati, who joined from Hasselbaink’s former club Burton for £350k in January, set up the winner against Ipswich today.
“Nasser was available and I thought he would give us something we didn’t have and that’s why I took him here,” Hasselbaink is quoted as saying by London 24. “There are others we are monitoring.
“It’s about making this club healthy and bringing the normality of the club back. We have to do that at QPR. Behind the scenes, (director of football) Les Ferdinand and the scouts are always on the lookout because we want to bring the normality back to QPR.”
