Good to see pictures of people at Welsh football games. (Decent amount I mean). Always brings hope that more will go and follow the Welsh leagues more.

Twitter went mad tonight with praise for 1,500 fans who turned out to support their local team, fantastic effort and bringing the game back to the community.

Can't wait though, it's been a while.

Gavin Chesterfield, players, management team and fantastic supporters have done wonders given what had happened to Barry Town. They deserve and will hopefully get back to where they belong in the Welsh Premier League before too long.

Crazy that if you live in Cardiff or South Wales, the nearest WPL club to us is now Port Talbot. We need a club like Barry Town to get back there as its also another good option for our youth players. Plus Barry is and always will be Cardiff City to the bone. I went to their first match that they played on the new 3G pitch and I thoroughly enjoyed it - pushed all the correct football buttons again.

my lad played in 1 game and there was a crowd of around 800 about 3 years ago which is pretty good in the welsh league
flares , flags and lot s of banter with the crowd shall we say . i was a neutral

I watch Carmarthen Town a bit, when there's no clash with CCFC. Good to see Barry Town on the up again. Trouble began when they were full time on gates of around 200. TNS have taken over from them. Hopefully Barry and Llanelli will be back in the Welsh Premier League before long. Biggest club there is probably Bangor City.
