' Cardiff City's performance today '

Sat Feb 06, 2016 9:14 pm

Today was my third match of the season besides the ones I have seen on Sky, I given reasons before why I have not got a season ticket.

But I did buy a gold ticket for if and when I wanted to go to matches, I went twice before in September last year, but having seen the way team was performing and Slades team selection and tactics I decide I would not go again as long as Slade and his assistant were in charge at the club.

Today I decided to go to a match because of recent favourable reports on here about our performances and that we should give Slade a chance and get behind the team.

I am sad to say that I was deeply disappointed by the effort of the whole team and Slades team selection and tactics,
I thought the team lacked leadership, confidence, our off the ball running was non existent, our passing was poor for a team at our level and the general ball control was poor, Oh I Know the conditions were bad I am not an idiot, but my conclusions are that this side under Slade will not reach the play offs and they will be lucky to finish about mid table.

Mr Slade or Young should not be offered new contracts at the end of the season but sent on their merry way.

We all have ideas who should be our new manager, but I really have no preference only that he has a football brain and enthusiasm to be sucsessful at our club.

It's one thought he would certainly bring the crowds back, only time would tell if he would be sucsessful.

First 40 minutes got to agree but second half we moved it well created chances just didn't put them in the net, No leadership quite correct and an area that needs to be addressed. We created more today than we used to in four or five games under Slade ( am not kidding ) still inconsistent but better.
