Boro away midweek

Rip off ticket prices, horrendous journey, time off work

I think the club should lay on free coaches.

Will probably only need 3 coaches max.
Cost to the club £3k max

To put into context, that's 8 season tickets !

Possibly subsidise tickets too.

Tim, I'm going, my 11th visit there, We will be lucky to fill a coach, last season we took 89 fans went plus 50 comps(only about 20 0f them used).
Instead of us taking a coach, we have a car, Carl,Mallo,Dave and myself.

The Football League are to blame for this,Hull,Leeds and Boro all away in midweek games

What the club should do is give the 50 comps to Vince for his coach instead of just leaving them in the Vale all the time.

Annis.
If I was one of the players I would be asking around for worthy recipients of my comps, and offering to chip in for the buses.
mind you - if I was one of the players the fans would hate me due to being all work rate and no skill
The players talk about how they appreciate our support, well actions like that would show they mean it.

It would be nothing to them to chip in between a few of them for a coach or 2.
Some of them probably blow more on one spin of the wheel

Good on you for making the journey.

Are there ANY independent buses going , or just the Supporters club ?

£32 a ticket is a shameless rip off by Boro.

Anyone know how much we charged their supporters when they came down here earlier in the season?

They seem to be trying to price our supporters out of the game.

I'll be there so up yours Boro!

I booked today in the supporters' club, to go on Vince's coach. Middlesbrough are a total disgrace, charging £32 for this game. Charlton Athletic are only charging £22 for Saturday.

89 fans Annis ? There was 90 I was in the home end :o :laughing6: But seriously we should be charging away fans the same as they charge ours. I think Boro fans paid £20 and that is fair. £32 is not that's for sure. I wonder how much the Boro fans have to pay ? Will find that out.
