' SLADE REFUSES TO ANSWER QUESTION '

Cardiff City boss Russell Slade admits uncertainty as he refuses to confirm he wants to stay at the club.

Slade was today asked if he wanted to stay next season as manager of Cardiff City.

Reporters on a few occasions asked Slade this question, but he either did not answer it or refused to answer it.

A lot of lower Championship clubs including Division 1 and Division 2 clubs have been alerted that Slades contract ends this current season.

Slade has managed to keep Cardiff City on the brink of the Championship play-offs so far this current season and with very little backing from the club, including having to carry on selling his better players and very little support from the fans.

Cardiff City's two top goal scorers Kenwyne Jones and Joe Mason were also either sold or let go and Slade himself saying it was all out of his hands as he was told it was business reasons.

Difficult to speculate on this one, I suppose Slade doesn't want to stay at a club where he doesn't feel appreciated (who would?). The best the fans can do from now on until the end of the season is throw in some positivity and get behind the team and the manager for the last few months of the season. At the end of the day what will be will be, no one individual is bigger than the club and CCFC has to keep moving forward. :ayatollah:

Can't say I blame him for being 'reserved' with his response to that question. Things/opinions change so quickly at our club that a question answered today could trip him up tomorrow (usually at approx. 4:45pm) :|

It may also be that no one (specifically Tan rather than Dalman or Choo) has given him any indicator to date or, alternately, he may have decided in his own mind that he can do "without this crap!" and move on whilst his stock his high! ;)

I still believe this is the info we will hear in March prior to season tickets.

Bellers and Ray all the way!

If we don't get promoted he will be offered the chance to stay. If we do get promoted then the search will be on for an experienced PL manager. There is no way Bellamy will be our next manager.

I don't think anyone is happy that is associated with the city....the rot is in... :ayatollah:

Passion from Bellamy? Have you mistaken yourself for a Liverpool supporter?!

you cant fault Bellamy's passion - the truth is he did more than what was recognised to get us promoted. Not with his footballing ability but with his constant chops on the pitch, encouraging & bollocking all through games :bluebird:

Agreed, I'd rather someone with passion and a good cv. We could still plumit next year if we're not careful with the way our club is run.
