LEICESTER FAIL IN RONALDINHO BID

04/02/16

Leicester made an approach to sign Ronaldinho during the January transfer window, but failed to lure the 35-year-old to the Premier League, reports The Independent.

The former Barcelona and AC Milan midfielder is currently without a club after leaving Brazilian side Fluminense at the end of 2015.

Even at 35 I'd love to see him in the PL

he didn't have too long at the very top of his game because of his partying but there's was 2 or 3 seasons at Barcelona where he was simply untouchable. My favourite player. After Whitts of course.

Best player in the world for a while but apparently he fell out of love with football and enjoyed the wilder side of the game too much. I heard on Talksport a while ago that when he was playing for Mineiro one of the local papers had a phone number to call if you saw Ronaldinho out partying and they would send someone down to take him home

Closest he came to the prem was when he turned United down, he'd be a very poor signing now I imagine but a statement of intent I suppose.

Haha yeah of course not a shade on whitts.

Same as the original Ronaldo, propper party boy. I bumped into him coming out of pacha in ibiza years ago, I had to rub my eyes, wish I'd had my camera!... He had this big entourage of models with him, as you do.
