Sky Sports pundit Andy Walker says it's time for Celtic to part company with manager Ronny Deila following their 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

It was a miserable night for the Scottish champions, who have now suffered back-to-back defeats following their shock loss against Ross County in the Scottish League Cup semi-final last weekend.

Celtic's lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership was cut to three points as goals from Jonny Hayes and Simon Church earned Aberdeen a 2-1 victory and former player Walker says owner Dermot Desmond has a big decision to make over Deila, who claimed on Tuesday he has the board's backing.

There was talk of Giggs taking over the other day but Ronny just won Maanger of the Month in Jan.

Seems strange to sack him now, might aswell keep him till the summer surely.

Firest thing I noticed from watching City all my life was the quality. SPL is miles away from the Championship, more like leauge 1 or 2.

Not sure what the salaries would be like but Slade with bonuses etc would probably cost about £200K a year

Their fans are like Man Utd fans, think they have a divine right to win everything - just step on the pitch job done. Living off their European Cup win back in the 60's or whenever it was. Wankers!

It is a shame how the Scottish League has become so uncompetitive over the last 20 years. It was really buzzing back then and I always tuned into the Old Firm Derby.

Proportionally more people watch football in Scotland than any where else in Britain .

There are 42 teams in Scottish league.

I think 2 divisions of 21 teams each, playing each other twice a season would be better.

4 teams go down
3 teams auto and 4th and 5th from bottom in a play off to stay up

4 teams go up
3 teams auto and 4th and 5th from top in a play off to go up

They currently play each other 4 times a season in league, that can become a chore in my opinion.

No, they won't do that as a lot of teams will have nothing to play for, for most of the season. The reason they have small leagues is to have more old firm games, that's where the money is.

Both as bad as each other IMO. have had more expirence of rangers fans antics though after playing them the last 2 years.
