' This Really is Russell Slades chance '

This Really is Russell Slade & Cardiff City's chance to get it right after excellent away wins at Wolves and Huddersfield.

We face MK Dons at home on Saturday and surely not only can we beat them, but City can excite our fans by giving them a bit of a hammering.

Confidence is sky high with the team and City fans are starting to get the feel good factor back :ayatollah:

We've also signed Tom Lawrence’s from Leicester on loan till May, He’ll wear the number 37 shirt and Kenneth Zohore from KV Kortrijk who will wear 26 shirt.

MK DONS have recently, 0-5 home defeat by Burnley and a 1-3 away loss at bottom of the table Bolton which has left MK 1 point above above relegation.

And also more recently just got smashed at home to Chelsea in the cup. Cmon the city.

MK Dons Want to make it three wins in a row v Cardiff City

Thursday 4th February 2016

Dons will have their work cut out for them though. They head to the Cardiff City Stadium coming off two big and somewhat embarrassing defeats against Bolton and Chelsea

They say things come in threes and it’s certainly something Karl Robinson will be hoping for as MK Dons and Cardiff City lock horns for a third time on Saturday.

On both previous occasions this season, Dons have sent Russell Slade’s side back to Wales with nothing to show for their efforts. And in both cases, they’ve had Josh Murphy to thank for that.

Making his Dons debut back in August, Murphy delivered the killer blow to Cardiff in the second half of extra time to knock them out of the League Cup.

And when the league game looked destined for a draw, Murphy rattled home a 90th minute winner to secure all three points for Robinson’s side on Boxing Day.

“Someone told me ‘you never beat a team three times in one season’ so I’m not looking forward to it now!” said the manager earlier this week. “We’re looking forward to that challenge. The players they’ve brought in are so talented.

“They’ll be disappointed by the last two results (against Dons). We have to make sure we go there and put a performance in.”

Dons will have their work cut out for them though. They head to the Cardiff City Stadium coming off two big and somewhat embarrassing defeats against Bolton and Chelsea. And to add to the challenge, Cardiff have lost just once at home this season when Hull beat them 2-0 back in September.

While Dons continue flirt dangerously with the Championship relegation zone, Cardiff on the other hand sit ninth, four points outside the playoff spots, losing one of their last five league games.

Having missed out against Reading and Bolton with a hamstring injury, Dons striker Nicky Maynard got 15 minutes under his belt in the defeat against Chelsea last Sunday, but he has competition for the spot up front.

While new boy Alex Revell is ineligible to play against the club he left on Monday, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas is in contention to make his first start for the club.

I really hope City slaughter MK Dons on Saturday, because they've done us twice this season, that alone should be enough intent to command and conquer.

As Annis has said, it seems the teams spirit has picked up and I hope they're all pulling together for Sladey who appears to have settled things down in the camp, I really think this month could be a turning point for the club, our fans need to get together and be the 12th man, cut Sladey some slack and give everything for the cause.

Come on City, 4 points off play offs with all to play :ayatollah:

New signings, deadwood moved on, injury list shortening, this squad is good enough to make the playoffs. Slade this really is your chance to make a name for yourself, it's time to go for it, you have plenty of options, good luck at last the majority of fans are behind you :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: Can we have a Slade Maybe smile
