Leicester City

What a season, what an atmosphere in the KP, all that's good about football, achieved with pride and tradition in tact, what a club they now are. Years in the doldrums of the second tier, now on their way to the champions league, if they make the champions league they will go from strength to strength into a very very big club. They will make the likes of their local rivals such as Birmingham city, Derby County and Nottingham Forest look like lot smaller clubs than they probably will be if they are mixing it next season with the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid. Well run club that a lot of clubs should try to copy if they have decent owners. Well done to them :bluebird:

They were lucky since that run at the end of last season and got in a proven top league manager to carry it on from bottom of the league to top football really is a funny old game. :old:

Don't think their present owners have cheated anyone have they ?
At least they aren't owned and run by a mad man as we are :bluebird:

I think their owners were done for money laundering or something. Same with the brummies.

Personally think Spurs will win the league, but extremely likely that Leicester will be top four.

They haven't been lucky, you don't stay up the top for that long through luck. They're just a very hard-working team with some talented players who have true belief in their good manager.

Pearson laid the foundations.

They are doing fantastic but let's not trot out the "pride and tradition" line like a stick to beat us with.

Leicester City are the reason we now have a 10 point deduction for administration.

They did not get such a punishment and built their stadium without paying the construction firms by going into administration. Next season up they went.

He did a good job, yes. But Ranieri has seen it through and done a better job than Pearson would have done had he stayed on - and I'm a fan of Pearson. To say it's all down to luck is ludicrous.

Lucky? Are you being serious? They're where they are because they earned it and well done to them.

Seriously????

I thought they have played exceptionally well this season and tonight's goals from Vardy show why they are where they are!

A 'united' team playing with no fear under a manager who understands!

They will be there or there about come May and if The Arsenal and Man City keep tripping themselves up, I can see a rapidly improving Spurs side having a massive chance of winning the Premier League title ;)

Re: Leicester City

They deserve everything they get this season as they have been phenominal from the start, Vardy, Mahrez, Drinkwater to the back with Morgan / Huth and a class keeper.

I hope they win the league and stick one finger up to the man ... times are changing and belief is rife, Vardy is plain ridiculous, that goal last night sums up his game, Mignolet will probably have nightmares for years with that goal, what was he doing being so far off his line HOWEVER what was Vardy thinking when he hit that, corr blimey !!!
