You do realise it wasn't Slade who sold him, he kept playing him...

The better he does the more money we get anyway.

Was just thinking the same, does anyone have a look at the forum first before making another topic about the same subject? Guess not.
I'll merge them all now.

Joe Mason failed to entirely convince with his performance for Wolverhampton Wanderers against Bolton Wanderers last night.
Mason was brought in from Wolves from Cardiff City towards the end of the January transfer window, and Kenny Jackett put the striker straight into his starting line-up.
The 24-year-old could hardly have made a better start either, as he scored in the third minute of the contest with a well-placed finish.
At that point it seemed that Wolves would cruise to victory over the struggling Trotters, and the result appeared even more of a certainty when James Henry scored a second for the hosts.
However, Neil Lennon’s side fought back in the final minutes to stage an impressive comeback.
Bolton scored twice in the last 10 minutes to claim a point from Molineux, and surely end any hopes Wolves had of making it into the play-offs this season.
The result was a hugely disappointing one, and Wolves fans weren’t fully satisfied with Mason’s display on debut, despite his early strike

it was the second goal that told me more about Mason than the open goal first.
He wandered aimlessly into an offside position while the game was happening around him
