Cardiff City FC can confirm that Gabriel Tamaş' contract has been terminated by mutual agreement. He leaves the Club with immediate effect.

Cardiff City defender Gabriel Tamas has mutually agreed to terminate his contract and is set to return to his former Romanian club Steaua Bucharest, according to the clubs official website.
The defender has failed to make an impact since joining the club – appearing just once for the club in their shock FA Cup defeat to Shrewsbury Town.
The Bluebirds signed Tamas in the summer as a free agent after the experienced Romanian impressed while on trial with the club. He has 65 caps for Romania and has had previous spells with Watford and West Brom.
The Romanian had been frustrated with Russell Slade not starting the defender regularly, but Slade primarily brought Tamas in as a back-up.
