No he didn't, Immers played the number 10 role of a 4-2-3-1 system in Holland.
Lawrence can play up front or anywhere just behind the striker or on the wings, so he's a good option to have with his versatility. Saying that, Ameobi can also play those roles and Ameobi doesn't deserve to be dropped after his performance at Huddersfield.
Great to have some new options we were previously lacking though.

I thought Immers could play like a box to box CM and chip in with a few goals my mistake Holland don't do 442 and agree about these options it gives us strength in depth now.![]()

I could be wrong but I think Immers is more comfortable in the number 10 role than as a centre midfielder. I suppose he does enough tracking back anyway, so you could class him as a centre midfielder.
Loved the way he ghosted into the back post unmarked to tuck his goal away. It was a tap in but some players have the off the ball movement and intelligence to pick up dangerous positions and it seems Immers is one of them.

Lawrence is a 9 or 10 also but was used on the wing at Blackburn. We have good options now up top.
