The wingsuit in that clip reminded me of this where they've either nuts or nuts :bluescarf:

The adrenaline must be pumping at such a rate that would give most of us an heart attack.

Same here. I'm of to Everest in March and climbing to the north Col on the Tibet side, North side of Everest and dreading the ladder climb but will cross it any day rather than gliding down that. When he says once you're committed you're committed then I laughed as it seems you've no choice.

Balls of steel you need for that undertaking :o

That video of yours was taken from the clip i posted.

Wanted to climb Everest since I was a boy but can't afford the £50k they now charge but only charge £6k to climb to North Col and you see Everest in its glory unlike the souh side.

Everest, Tibet the north side and north Col.

Did a fair bit of walking and climbing in Norway, The Harz Mountains and especially in the Bavarian Alps, but that was all paid for by the Army! :D

So as beautiful and tempting Everest looks, I think I'll pass on that expense and keep my extreme sport as squash at my age! :old: :)

Nonsense. Yuichiro Miura an 80 yr old Japanese climber climbed Everest (North Side) and reached the summit in 2013 so he has shown that what ever age you are then it doesn't matter till someone beats his age.

I want to climb the Matterhorn in the Alps as that's one beautiful looking mountain. Alison Hargreaves climb them all and was the best British woman mountaineer we've seen and the only British woman to summited Everest without oxygen but died 1 month later on K-2 which is the mountain for mountaineers and for elite climbers.

Matterhorn in the Alps. Beautiful
