Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes has collapsed.
The two clubs Championship agreed a fee, thought to be about £9m, and the 25-year-old held negotiations with promotion-chasing Boro.
However, Boro said they were unable to agree personal terms with the player.
The Scotland international has scored 83 goals in 169 appearances for Blackburn, with 11 of those strikes coming this season.
Rhodes joined Blackburn from Huddersfield for £8m in 2012.

Certainly having a go. But, he was quiet both games against us and the few times I've seen him this season. Maybe need of a change

Lots of silly betting taking place by top 6 clubs if they don't go up they will face a much bigger/longer embargo than us....good luck to em, just hope their punt pays off....

Looking like Derby and Boro haven't learned the lessons from us.
If Burnley and Hull go back up I reckon those 2 will be in deep trouble.
