WELL DONE CITY FOR TAKING POSITIVE STEPS

Fri Jan 29, 2016 1:51 pm

There was a hint from Choo a few months ago that we were on the edge as far as the FFP rules, and it came as no surprise that we went into embargo this month. The club have taken some very real steps to getting this situation under control in getting KWJ off the books (est cost per annum £2.2M with oncosts) and Joe Mason with a net incoming fee (£1.5M)and wages (£0.5M) That effectively has a saving of £4.2M per season. Now if that does not get the club back onto the right side of the FFP rule then nothing will.

As far as impact on the team is concerned KWJ has only played in about 40% of the matches and scored 5 goals, Mason has played more with around 80% of matches scoring 6 goals I say we gone a long way in sorting the FFP out and not seriously impacted on the team. :bluescarf:

Agree with your post. If we had any other half decent forwards fit at the club it wouldn't be half the issue.

Well said! Some city fans need to see the club is being run in the correct manner now to fix the wrong doings. Tan has learnt from his mistakes and making positive steps forward for the club.

If this post was slagging vincent tan off and the club it would be a sticky. Anything positive towards vincent tan and club no.
