he didnt impress me at all last week but then you cant really judge someone off 25 minutes. So fingers crossed he has a good game

Meaning what - a good team, a bad team, an average team - to me those 2 up front represents a desperate situation whereby 2 make shift strikers will be leading the line.

It may turn out to be a master stroke, caused by necessity, but we should not be in this situation if the club had been managed properly - both on and off the field.

lots of clubs are in this situation - whether managed properly or not - when they drop down from the Premier League, especially after just one season.

I have no problem with it - we have other strikers on loan, or coming back from injury. this season and probably next was all about sorting things out then pushing on from there.

Frankly having an absentee owner it could be a whole lot worse.

You have hit the nail on the head there.I find it shocking that we have to play 2 midfielders up front,joke selling our strikers without getting replacements in.This club is farcical!!

Pleased to see Fabio back in 11, respect to Pilks - he's doing a good job so far and am glad that Saidi is not being rushed back...I think he will be big for our remainder of this season

Yeah he deserves that role but alongside another midfielder, risky.

Hypotheical now, but if Slade picked Mason and Revell up top tomorrow, as they are, supposedly, genuine strikers, there would have been shitloads moaning about that.

Any excuse to be negative...ffs we're not in a relegation battle, things aren't ideal at the club, but we're 5 points off the play off spots!

It's about picking the best two not if they are strikers or midfielder.
He signed Ameobi, he signed Doyle, he signed Revell yet we are starting two midfielders? If they don the job then fine.

Fair point.

We've had strikers but they weren't up to it so this is where we're at. Pilks looks lots better than any other striker we've had this season apart from Watt.
