Reports claim the striker is due in Cardiff for a medical on Friday

Cardiff City are set to sign striker Kenneth Zohore, according to reports in Denmark.
They claim that Zohore will undergo a medical tomorrow ahead of the move.
The terms of the deal are not yet clear, with Cardiff City of course severely restricted under the terms of the Football League transfer embargo.

The Danish forward currently plays in the Superliga for Odense BK, and has 7 goals in 16 games so far this season.
He has previously played for IFK Goteborg, Brondby IF and Fiorentina, though he never made an appearance for the Italian giants.
He began his career at FC Copenhagen, the same club as notorious Bluebird flop Andreas Cornelius.
Still just 21 years old, Kenneth Zohore remains relatively inexperienced, but at 6ft 2ins he may well be the target man figure the club have been desperately chasing since the departure of Kenwyne Jones.
The club had made a new striker a priority at the start of the window, before the transfer embargo forced a planned permanent move for Tony Watt to collpase.
And with Joe Mason now having confirmed his move to Wolves, manager Russell Slade looks to be struggling for striking options.

If they are going to have a look at players in this sort of league, they may as well spend some time looking closer to home as well, like some of their own development players or even the Welsh League. I imagine virtually any striker from the League of Wales would have been better value for money than Cornelius.

Slade will loan the loanee out to Walsall or somewhere

He looks to have a bit of pace.

Acorn might of got paid a lot, but it would be poetic justice if Kenny Z scores a few and shows him how its done during a embargo loan deal albeit in being the Championship and it`ll only take one goal. I watch Port Talbot on occasion and watch Clwb Pel Droid regularly. I think any out of Rhys Griffiths, Chris Venables, Rhys Healy and Marc Williams all could have done better job at Cardiff City than Acorn in 2013/14 but that would not have been that hard, Declan John and Matts Deahli both punched above their weight that season.

Low risk signing.
He may turn out to be shit or he may be decent.
At least he is strong and has a bit of pace.
The transfer embargo may be prolonging Slades position.
Literally wouldn't trust the guy with any cash so these loans, with potential permanent moves, are pretty low cost and low risk signings.

Too many foreign signings, loss of identity continues. Connor Washington played 10 miles down the road last season, no interest from the scouting dept.
Look closer to home
