It seems it's a fashion to have a go at the Jews and in particular Israel, but they have been persucuted like dogs in recent history. Is it surprising they are the way they are ? This photo is harrowing But let's not forget the what happened during the Second World War.

That is interesting you said that Chief. Apart from being 100% certifiably off her rocker Merkel is indeed embarrassed to be German. Recently she threw away a German flag someone had put in front of her. But as you hit on there history was very anti Jewish and they massacred millions of them, so what do they do they are going to have hundreds of thousands of Jew hating Muslims. The Nazis were the most .. Well I can't even find the words to describe what they were.. And the pictures and footage show a truly harrowing picture of evil. I cannot put into words how it must feel to see your child murdered and that split second you have to make things better.
The Germans are for some reason trying to make up for previous misgivings but in the wrong way. We shouldnt have got involved in Iraq etc etc and we now have to leave them to it, Germany need to realise they have perhaps made the biggest mistake since invading Russia.

The vast majority of Palestinians who made any comment after 9/11 condemned it 100%. I'm sure there were some Palestinians, and some other people around the world who hate the USA, who celebrated publicly or privately that so many were murdered in that attack. But from everything I've seen and read the vast majority of Palestinians were as horrified and outraged as you and me.

And to get back to the OP - there is a massive difference between the jewish people (victims of persecution throughout the centuries) and the Israeli state (perpetrator of persecution over the period since 1948).

On the evening of January 27th, Holocaust Memorial Day, I had the privilege of being present at a nearby synagogue to see a showing of the harrowing film called, 'The Grey Zone.' The film is based on the book: 'Auschwitz - A Doctor's Eyewitness Account,' written by Dr. Miklós Nyiszli.

The title comes from a chapter in the book, 'The Drowned and the Saved,' by Holocaust survivor Primo Levi. The film tells the story of the Jewish Sonderkommando XII in the Auschwitz concentration camp in October 1944. These prisoners were made to assist the camp's guards in shepherding their victims to the gas chambers and then disposing of their bodies in the ovens.

The title of the film relates to the grey bone-dust that clogged the air in the crematoria whist it was breathed in and clung to their faces and clothes.

The actions of a few hundred people - whether Iranians or Palestinians in Gaza celebrating terror attacks in the USA, or Israeli settlers partying whilst watching white phosphorous bombs burn children to death in a Gaza UN compound - should not blind us to the condition of millions - the citizens of Israel as well as the people of the West bank and Gaza.

i`ve never seen this photo before what happened to the Jews under the Nazi`s was horrific and you`d think i would have learnt a big lesson by that, not commit the same crimes.
