Exactly.

18 months into a 4 year contract. Fulham forked out a lot of money for his services and this is how he repays them.

No respect or loyalty.

Never liked him, thought he was an arrogant c***.

Boro must need their head testing signing this wanker.

Hope Fulham don't cave in on this. Fulham paid a lot of cash for him and Boro should cough up big time for him.
Same thing happened two years ago, when we came in for him and he wanted out from Leeds. Cellino, who'd only just got involved at Leeds, blocked the sale and he went to Fulham a few months later, for a lot more than what we offered for him in the January.

The Fulham fans are gathered at the bar sinking a few pints in The Transfer Tavern this evening and discussing reports that one of their top players has handed in a transfer request.

The Daily Mail is reporting that Ross McCormack has handed in a transfer request to the hierarchy at the club as he looks to make a move away.

Middlesbrough are believed to be ready to pounce on the striker should the club decide accept the Scotsman’s request.

It is thought the reason the 29-year-old wants to leave the club is due to Fulham only being interested in offering the forward a non-playing role at the end of his current deal which runs until 2019, and he has no interest in retiring from the game at just 32.

The forward has netted 15 times this season which has turned out to be another disappointing one with Fulham currently sitting 19th place in the Championship table.

As for the Fulham fans in The Tavern they are disappointed with McCormack’s decision and think the club should just agree to sell as they don’t want players at the club who don’t want to be there.

To be fair Fulham are going nowhere fast and Boro look like playing in the prem next season.

At least he's put an actual transfer request in forfeiting his bonuses rather than the usual shady business where they get their agent to put out the story without them having to forfeit a thing.

Well Boro look very likely to get promoted and doesn't to continue to be stuck in limbo at Fulham loyalty went ages ago I'm afraid. :(

The Fulham owner has the power to ruin Mccormacks career by not letting him go and then letting him rot in the reserves. I always like Ross though.

Anyone else remember the guy on here who said his mate met Mccormack on a stag do and that he had shit attitude. When pressed on why he answered "he was pissed up all the time". On a stag do? Heaven forbid  :old:
