Cardiff city have received a bid from Rotherham for Alex Revell after informing them he wants to leave the club

With pilks doing well im not surprised Slade is looking to let a few go I'd get rid of revel and macheda before Mason tho

Good, but that leaves us with Saadi, Pilks and Macheda. 2 are injury prone and Pilks isn't an out and out striker. I hope we have 2 signings lined up!

sell him and use healy off the bench

I expect Revell to go. As for Macheda, with his back problem healed, i'd like to see if he can perform the way he did with Birmingham.

Think Healey is injured an hasn't played at all for months ( unless I have missed a recent appearance for the reserves)

He wants to go. Rotherham want him. Sell.

Time to go. Clear the decks for the summer.

Was not Pilks injured in our last match but had to stay on because we had no subs left. If this is true about Mason, then there is definitely a striker coming in

Agree, just get rid. Not good enough.

I saw that someone made the point before that he has played for us and Wigan this season and that players aren't allowed to play for three clubs in the same season, so he wouldn't be able to go to Rotherham.
Have I got this wrong or is there some different ruling here ?

I used to think the same but looking up the rule it is actually 3 clubs

I bet healey would do a job coming off the bench for us a young hungry player that's gonna try his best to make the step up.revell was more of a squad player I think

Not featured much this season and never been spectacular.
Another one off the wage bill I guess.

Rotherham would be his 3Rd club so that will be fine

Today couldn't get much better. Get pro, but this isn't his level.

A Tryer and that's where it ends.

Good luck to the guy I hope he does well but he wasnt the right player for us.
I think we will still be fine.
Logically we have a LOT of players that just dont play. Slade is not one to rotate. If he feels a player is doing what he wants them to do then he doesnt make many changes. We had way too many strikers. none of them were prolific and half of them dont get any game time. Sure we may be lacking a bit if we have some injuries but Unless we sell doyle and or lefondre we can recall them and as they are professionals and we are their parent club they will have to do a job to then end of the season. I am not aware we have had much interest in macheda either so a good chance we will have him to the end of the season.
With that in mind we have plenty of forward players. they just dont all fit a 442 - which may finally force the management in to a more fluid game that IMHO actually suits the players.
No big man small man? well perhaps it may stop the banging it long and hoping for something that we had often with Kenwyne.
Pilks looks good up top, Saadi looked good when he came on and as long as we can get him fit he can do no worse than the guys we have let go and are letting go. Macheda is there, immers is an experienced player from a good league. I am sure he is able to do a job!!!
Lets stop wasting money on players wages when they add no value to the team. We are better off bunkering down with a smaller squad of players that actually play and look to strengthen when someone of actual quality comes along IMHO.
FWIW I think selling Mason is good business for the suggested fee. He runs around but Watt showed in a hand full of games what we were missing out on with Mason. Cash in now while we can, the lack of ambition is not from selling Mason. It will be from not looking to strengthen in the summer when we are in a position to do so.

I can't help but think this is his aim to make the club more attractive to potential buyers. No offence meant to wez

Or have the club realised that they have to be more financially prudent

Paying £10 grand on flights when we could travel by coach, and we are under embargo. Somethings not right at Cardiff City
