This administration threat...

Tue Jan 26, 2016 6:37 pm

Anybody else feel that maybe it wouldn't be too bad a thing to happen? Other clubs have taken the 'hit' and come back stronger. Taking a relegation or two and ridding us of the likes of Tan and Hammam doesn't sound too shabby to me. Be ironic too if its the Lebanese fella that's instrumental in putting us back to where we were before he came along and put us on this rollercoaster! I'm by no means a Tan sympathizer, cant wait for the day that he gets out of our club. But lets not forget, it was Hammam that put us into the position where we desperate and willing to bend over to anyone with a few quid to throw at us!

The bounce back factor is not guaranteed though if it happens.

Correct, but at the very least, we will have a United club, with hopefully someone half decent running the show. No more in-fighting about who was better for the club, Tan or Hammam, they'll both, in time, be consigned to history, thank f**k!

Didn't Pompey go into Admin as well in the Champ and were then taken over by ANOTHER dodgy businessman? Took them ages to get fan ownership. They're united to their team as well. Our fan base isn't as loyal and dedicated to become owners of the club, no one wanted to buy Cardiff in the Premier League or the Championship, so why would they want to buy a club(if Admin DID happen) who would be more or likely playing in League One in front of a maximum of about 8,000 crowd?

Wish we had taken it years ago before tan ruined are club :(

Instead we rolled over its as simple as that and we have nothing but three times more debt for it, a fan base where 1000s who have given up and a club everyone is laughing at

The club and its fan is not even a glimmer of what it once was sadly.

Ian, I wish we had as well.

Pompey might be Div 4, they get 17,000 at home, take 1,500 away and their fans are united as one, with passion, pride and atmosphere.

Wish we had gone into administration before Tan came along or not had Hammam come in when we in the bottom division. IMO the two events are intrinsically linked.
