Leeds United want to take Aiden McGeady on loan from Everton. McGeady is looking for more playing time to boost his chances of a starting place in Martin O'Neill's Republic of Ireland side for Euro 2016.

“Speaking to Aiden’s representatives, he may have options in the Premier League,” Evans said. “I do like Aiden McGeady but there has been no further chat with him in the last 10 days.

“But if he were to consider a Championship club then Leeds must be at the front of that thought process - we’re the biggest, most outstanding club in the league."

Good player but hasn't done much at Everton and would think there'd be Premier League clubs who would buy him.

They can afford to get rid because he's not at the same level as the likes of Mirralas and Deuflofeu.
