bottlers

Mon Jan 25, 2016 9:10 pm

People think we are bad but derby are far far worse.

At least when we were favorites for the title we walked it and were top pretty much all the way.

Anything less than top two is a shambolic failure as far as im concerned and if they finish in the playoffs im sure they will bottle that too

Re: bottlers

Wonder if they will lose 6-0 away at Preston and end up crying on the pitch at Sheffield Wednesday?

I predicted in September that Hull and Burnley would occupy the 2 automatic promotion places and I'm beginning to wish I'd put money on it!

Still think boro will do it personally

I get the feeling some of the Derby players have turned against their manager. Paul Clement cancelled their break to Dubai, because they ONLY drew at home.

It's a decision that will make Clement fail and get him the sack in my opinion, and rightfully so.

Derby fans up here are got a happy bunch.

I've been having these images that we creep into the play offs and knock Derby out of the semi's with a last minute goal at their place. That will make life bearable around here again.

They still turn up in numbers mind, despite all the failures.

It's not even a big place.

How come their support is so big ?

A longstanding history and tradition. Many years near the top of English football has allowed them to build up a few generations of solid support, plus I would imagine they run the club properly.

I agree with you, but in some respects, bigger city, new stadium, recent pl football and history all there, so why aren't there more solid Bluebirds who attend whatever the circumstances? I know Tan has done damage, bug surely the fan base is still there.

They have a history of giving away tickets for kids and local businesses.

Derby are on the up, we don't know where we're going. That topic has been rinsed on here and differs from person to person but the responsibility for the apathy and lack of passion at the club falls in the hands of those who run it for me. Tans fucked up, simple as. He's treated fans like customers, tried to gain success in an unsustainable way and now he's reaping what he sowed.

i wonder if Derby fans see it this way.

eventually they have to get promotion surely, just like we did. but they are making a right royal mess of it yet again and after spending the obscene amount of money they spend i think more than a few derby fans must be rather annoyed right now.

I work with a lad from Derby, he's livid after last night!

If they fail to go up, surely they'll be f**ked with the FFP next season?

Re: bottlers

they must now have spent 25 million on players this season. wouldnt be surprised to see a few more go there as well.

Re: bottlers

Tue Jan 26, 2016 12:23 pm

Yeah, £25 mil...

Plus wages, there must be some big earners in that squad.

Re: bottlers

Imagine if Slade was failing after spending 25 million this season?

Slade gets enough unnecessary stick keeping us challenging for the playoffs without being given a penny to spend this season!

If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Since they made those new signings they haven't won a game.

Did the same last year

LqYalou don't need toĺ, just attract solid quality players.
