" Craig Bellamy "

Would Cardiff get the bounce a new manager so often brings?

What would a bounce like that do for their momentum and league position?

Would it lead to a significant increase on gates?

The notion that man could be Craig Bellamy, who admitted he turned down the job before, is obviously even more exciting, although in the kind of way a game of Russian roulette is exciting, to be fair. It could be utterly brilliant under Bellamy. On the other hand, it would also represent a gigantic step into the unknown.

If he does come it will not be until next season.

He has publically stated that he wanted a 2 year break from football and that will be up this summer :sladeout:

I dont care if Bellamy was awful as manager, it would at least be better football. Football played like the way he used to play.

Watching Slade's team every week has become a chore , and I wont be renewing next season if he is still offering up the same cr@p he is offering up at the moment.

Slade is a nice guy - but he mumbles and stumbles his way through interviews and this seems to be translating itself to the way we play. Stuttering and fiddling our way through games.

Slade in my opinion needs to go - as I dont think he has 'it' at this level - sorry Rus - just my opinion

No doubt at all Bellamy would be a popular appointment and a boost to season ticket sales.

However, I am sure if he was offered the job it would come with conditions...I.e no interference from Tan..a reasonable transfer budget etc

personally, I know it would be a highly risky appointment but from Tan point of view if he wants the fans back on side it's a no brainier...

however, when has Tan ever done anything to please the fans.. sorry customers??

All? Any football realist realises that it would be a gamble. I'd rather he cut his teeth for a couple of years with a League 1 or 2 side before coming to us. There are no Championship managers in their first appointment for a reason - they need experience elsewhere.

We need him now to boost season ticket sales. Thousands more will not renew under Slade  :bluescarf:

Bellamy is a hot head and can explode at any time, might be a blessing if it gets rid of Tan  The one thing Bellamy would do is get 110% out of each individual and crowds will increase. The football will be better week in week out

Bellamy in now I think is a "No Brainer"

None of expect us to get promoted so if we dont get promoted none of us will worry. If we do get promoted then it will because of Bellamy (or Tans decision to appoint Bellamy)

Additionally, and perhaps more important, CB will be given 7 months to prepare a competitive side for September - rather than appointing him June/July and giving him 1 month.

Another way to look at it is if he came in now and didn't do very well it wouldn't be so good for ST sales whereas is if he was brought in after the season ended there would be a big rush and increase IMO.
Whatever, I definitely believe he won't be brought in now and probably not in the summer either.

Yes I think they would

I still don't think the club would reach the play/offs as we have a very odd squad in my opinion, a lot of Slade signings alike.

Gates would increase initially but we would also have to start winning and attacking.

Let go and get him

If Slade was to go then I think Bellamy is the only option, we can't bring new boys in (except loans) and we're in no danger of relegation, he already knows most of the boys and trained with them every day so knows their strengths and weaknesses so would be able to ease into the process and prepare for next year.

I think your all mad bellamy has never managed a team at any level so it's a massive gamble that I think we just can't take we need solidarity and a safe bet to stabilize the club .
I just dont see him bringing that to us its a gamble.
He would need time to settle in find his feet at cardiff we as fans don't put up with that.
It's a big no from me .
