Cardiff City to take from these three next fixtures?
30/01/2016 15;00 Huddersfield Town v Cardiff City
06/02/2016 15:00 Cardiff City v Milton Keynes Dons
13/02/2016 15:00 Charlton Athletic v Cardiff City
For me 9pts if we are serious about challenging for the play -offs

Annis, we won at Wolves mainly because Noone was on fire, back to normal on Saturday. So those 3 fixtures under current form 3 lossess

4 points being realistic.

Four points is realistic, anything more would be a bonus. This is Cardiff though, so a better guess would be something between zero and nine points. Nothing should shock us any more.

Christ talk about being one-eyed, you do realise we haven't lost at home in 10 games?
So with two of those games being at home how do you work out that we will lose all three based on current form?
You might think we are going to lose all three based on your incredibly pessimistic view on all things City, but saying that decision is based on current form is nonsense.
Based on current form we'll play a blinder in one or two and then win and grind out a dull draw in the rest. Our biggest problem this season has been a lack of consistency.
So I reckon we'll get between 5 & 7 points but agree with Annis' OP that if we are serious about playoffs we need 9.

We should be wining all of them but we won't
Mon Jan 25, 2016 10:03 am
think itll be tough, but 7 points is what we should be aiming for. that will keep us near the playoffs.
Mon Jan 25, 2016 10:46 am
HUDDERSFIELD - DRAW
MKDONS - WIN
CHARLTON - LOSE (new manager, desperate for a win etc etc)

I haven't got a prediction right all season

but we need 9 points simple as.
Mon Jan 25, 2016 12:18 pm
One point at most I reckon
Mon Jan 25, 2016 12:42 pm
Got to be 3 wins to keep up or close in on top 6,anything less than 5 points and we can finally draw a line under this season

Hope you are right

but obviously you are not used to a decent standard of football with the ball going into the net!
Maybe they teach things differently these days

Statistics don't tell the whole story, and those quoting our home record need to look a bit closer at each game.
Yes we've only lost once at home, to Hull who still have quality, but we've only won 7 of our 14 home games. We've got 6 draws at home, and if you look at the games vs. Burnley, Wednesday and Brentford we lost 2-0 leads on three occassions. We managed to squeek a result vs. Brentford but we've dropped a total of 12 points at home, so you can't expect to predict what City will do from game to game.
And with that sort of home form we can't expect to be anywhere near the play offs come the end of the season. I'm sure Slade will use the transfer ban as the reason for the teams inability to get promoted, when in truth he simply isn't good enough for this league.

Its got the stage where I do not look at who we are playing, more who the teams around us are playing. We are so unpredictable, that I expect that we will need other teams to lose for us to have a chance, more than us winning!
Mon Jan 25, 2016 1:53 pm
5 points
Mon Jan 25, 2016 6:05 pm
Win them all.

On paper 9 points but its us and Huddersfield have been playing well so a 2-1 loss by there
Mk dons- 2 losses to them this season already isn't it? So maybe a 1-1 draw and I fully expect us to beat Charlton 2-0
Tue Jan 26, 2016 1:48 am
7 points (I was going to say 8 and wait for a bite. Lol)
You've got to look at beating the teams below you if you want to aim for playoff places..... Or just a decent finish come to that.
Tue Jan 26, 2016 7:43 am
Any dream of the playoffs it has to be 9 points
Tue Jan 26, 2016 10:23 am
I want 9pts but would be happy with 7pts
Tue Jan 26, 2016 12:05 pm
Huddersfield- Lose
MK- Win
Charlton - Draw (although I think we should be winning this)
4 points, not enough to keep us within a shout of a playoff place.
