' Is he Now Cardiff's best striker? '

Anthony Pilkington impressed again yesterday

Is Anthony Pilkington the best striker at the club?

This was some performance from Pilkington, who was never out of the game.

Two beautifully taken goals, almost an assist for Joe Mason, and he should have had a penalty, instead being booked for diving.

Good in the air, good on the ball, Pilkington looks the complete package up front.

Nevertheless, a disappointing showing from Joe Mason demonstrated that Cardiff still need to make a striker a priority this January.

Definitely Annis, he took those goals like a natural finisher. He also put Immers through on goal with a lovely through ball. Pilkington is a quality footballer who can do a job in any attacking position. Playing him up front has been a masterstroke from Slade.

We need our quality players to be as involved as possible and Pilkington is a lot more involved up front. That's definitely his new position, yesterday he performed as if he's played up front his whole career, he's wasted on the wing.

This is a masterstroke from Slade to be fair Pilkington looks a natural up front now when Saadi comes back he can play with him. :ayatollah:

He also made some excellent runs yesterday that wasn't spotted. It was the first game where I've seen him play upfront and he was excellent. He is also great odds with the bookies to score first, he was 10/1 yesterday
