No point in bringing in anyone else

Sat Jan 23, 2016 6:21 pm

This team under this manager is going nowhere.

We won't be relegated but we certainly won't be getting promoted either.

Some on here were talking about the team going on a run of four or five wins in a row

Absolutely no point in spending any money on loan signings as the season is effectively over now. Save money by just running with what we've got (a severely limited manager and inconsistent players) and try to start again in the summer.

I dont think we will make the palayoffs but i dont expect anyone at the club to give up with 17 games left

We have the players already that should be putting us higher up the league.

We have a slow immobile squad, without a goalscorer.

I was shouted down as negative for not wanting the dutch lad on loan. My argument is we should be seeing if the U21's can step up. Why not try Oshilaja, O'Sullivan or Healy.

Sell anyone we get market value on, who knows who the new manager will want, give them a blank canvass.

I agree with you, and that's why I predicted a mid table finish before the season started. I don't agree with those who say we should be higher. We are where we are because there are far better teams than us in this division. It's not just the players in the squad, the mix has to be right as well. We have no pace in the team, and nobody who is going to get us 20 or so league goals in a season. I don't think we are a million miles away, just a couple of players short in key positions.

And a different manager and coaching team.
