Looks a real good player just behind the striker. Took both goals really well

Looks like we may have found a centre forward. Pity he got injured near the end. Looked like a hamstring. Could be out for a bit.

Why didn't we install him as a frontman before.

We looked a lot better with him up front, nice to have a forward who can score too!

Agree looked very good but Mason was always deeper than him. Pilks was the main centre forward.

Definitely, he was almost the target man at times.
Although Mason was so deep at times he might as well have been in goal.

Keep Pilkington upfront, looked 10 times the player he usually is

Stupid to keep him on the pitch at the end.
Just hope he hasn't aggravated what looked like a hamstring injury. As soon as he pulled up he signalled to the bench that he was injured but as we were down to 10 with all substitutes used Pilkington stayed on for the last 5 minutes or so when it was obvious he could hardly move.
We had long since given up trying to win the game by then so it would surely have made more sense for him to come off the pitch.
9 men could have held on whithout too much trouble against a poor Rotherham team.

He was excellent.
Would have loved to see him and Watt together

Outstanding today,Annis and easily Man of the Match
Has Russell accidentally stumbled on a little gem in that position just like Sir Bobby Robson did in the World cup?

Excellent game again up top. Hope injury not serious. Runs the channels and at and around cb very mobile and threatening

We'd used all 3 subs I think... Immers, Fabio and Ameobi all came on before he got injured
