Ross McCormack

Just noticing McCormack is second top scorer this season..

He has notched 15 goals this season and 17 last season for Fulham.

He has scored 60 goals in 3 seasons...

Would anyone ever take him back?

At the time David Jones preferred Chopra to him. Probably the fans did too in fairness. It is sad and a little irritating to think now that Chopra was abusing his position with us for his habit and we sidelined the better long term bet.

He proved in his first season that he was good enough I don't know why DJ didn't give him a chance.

Boro have just put a £12 million bid into Fulham for him, so don't think he would come back here :bluebird:

Selective memory. After his first season with us he then went to the papers trying to force a move to Hull City crying we were pricing him out of a move. He then got done early in his second season for drink driving and fleeing the scene of an accident and was in and of court for a few months. He was also a bit of a pissed up nuisance around town giving it Charlie big spuds and got into a scrape or two with City fans.

We also resigned Chopra that summer and he banged in 21 goals that season so no one was complaining. We signed Bellamy the following year so people definitely were complaining when he was eventually sold.

Maybe leaving Cardiff when he did was the best thing that could have happened to his career. He was young, fucked up a couple of times, was knocked down a peg or two and so he knuckled down and has had a very good last 4.5 seasons after a slow start to his time at Leeds. Again I didn't hear anyone complaining the first year or so at Leeds when he wasn't pulling up any trees.

I wish him the best and do look out for him as I liked him as a player but let's have a bit of balance here before we go slagging off Jones and the club.

Spot on, he's a quality player now at this level, but wasn't as good as Bellamy, Bothroyd and Chopra while he was here. We sold him too cheap though, wasn't it 250k or something around that figure?

Crikey I totally forgot about that shame about what he did and agree with above said we did sell him cheap though.

Didn't he write off his car while drunk when here?
He lost his way and was getting fatter by the day.
