Leeds United are reported to have agreed a fee with Brentford for midfielder Toumani Diagouraga.

Why is this significant for Cardiff, you may ask?
Well, according to a local football journalist in Leeds, the signing throws into question the future of loan signing Tom Adeyemi.


Adeyemi hasn’t featured for Leeds in 2016 after being axed from the squad. Manager Steve Evans said earlier this month: “It’s a form issue.

“We just think he’s sloppy, he looked laboured, all the stuff we can all see. “So to take Tom out and rest him doesn’t mean he’s not got a part to play.”

Adeyemi needs to find a new club.
