Chris Burke to make debut against Cardiff tomorrow

Rotherham have signed Chris Burke on loan until end of season.
Could make debut against us tomorrow.

At least he's getting further north, and closer to home in his transfers.

Always a nice return when Burkey is playing, done well for us here.

He's never played well against us since he left.

To be fair, he nearly scored for Forest for us in Slades first game, Nooney cleared off the line.

Rotherham must have signed Burke by 12 noon for him to be eligible to play against us tomorrow. I'm pretty sure 12 noon is the cut off time?

That's Burke and Becchio they've signed now, 2 players past it winding down their careers. I don't expect either of them to trouble us, so expect them both to score against us tomorrow now!

I like Chris Burke. I remember being gutted when he left us to go to Brum as he wanted PL football as they were in ascendancy in the Championship and he wanted to be further 'ooop north. A few seasons later he's out on loan at Rotherham. At least he got the 'ooop north bit I suppose.

Burke, Bellamy, Bothroyd and Chopra were brilliant at times in Dave Jones' last season.

Remember our fans weren't too happy when he left at the end of his contract, but to be fair he hasn't done much since.
