I'm on 100 now.

I funny enough had a few words with a city fan in the Canton v Notts Forest home and he was telling me the pace has gone from him and he's past it.

I try not to be too biased towards Whitts but to say hes past it because he lost pace is drivel.. he is a central midfielder and central midfielders these days are gifted with all different attributes.. Not comparing him to these players level but Pirlo is not gifted with pace but is deemed still up there.. Xavi was never gifted with a lot of pace even Toni Kroos.. these players all very much have the same strong attribute which is passing from 5 yards to 60 yards.

You won't find many players like Whittingham nowadays at our club, the intelligence he has is what for me makes him still good enough at this level because he can see a pass before the balls has touched his feet.

Sadly my fellow Whittonistas we are in the minority these days but with quality like that imo we should still be building a side around him and sorting out some kind of formation to get the best out of him.

Is this the same Whittingham which most fans say he's finished He's a class player and still has alot to offer

Wonderfully gifted player who isn't always at his best but chuck him further upfield and he will produce the goods, definetly a confidence player.

Unfortunately Mason's control is that of a puberty hit teenager who's just seen his first bluey, sooner he's taken out of the team the better, liability.

Its an 8/10 for me
