" SCOTT YOUNG "

Fri Jan 22, 2016 11:50 am

Getting fed up with the abuse Scott Young is getting. Hes Cardiff City through and through and gave everything he had every time he pulled on a City shirt.

If he was playing now wed be chanting "Scott Young. Hes one of our own"

Not saying I think hes the answer as a coach but then ive never seen him coaching either.

However, wether you think hes up to the job or not some of the comments directed towards him are disgraceful considering what he gave this club as a player.

I can only assume these comments are made by newbies or people with alzheimers. If not then hang your heads in shame.

Agree, no one knows how good a coach he is or isn't but he's Cardiff through and through ,the same people moaning are the ones that were moaning there's no local football men at our club

I put up a very similar post a while ago. People on here calling him every name under the sun and it's sums up a section of our fan base. The lack of respect is a disgrace

Why don't you ask Port Talbot what type of coach he was, no one doubts his commitment to the club, but with commitment must come ability, and in my humble opinion the ability is not there

I have a friend who coaches at the academy (don't we all   ) and he told me quite a while ago , I think it was more towards the start of Slade's tenture, that Young was the man who would stand up to Tan's interference, now that might have changed, but that's what he said at the time.

Yes cos coaching parks players is the same as coaching championship players isnt it

Besides, he was let go by Port Talbot because of off field issues out of his control.

I was critical of Scott Young as a coach (based on sitting just behind the home dugout at a couple of games and listening to some of the drivel he came out with) recently , within earshot of the club Chair and the CEO. They were both at pains to tell me that Scott Young has no involvement at all in coaching at the club at first team level and that his role was purely managerial as an Assistant Manager.

So its OK for you to slag Slade but not your beloved Valley boy.

Young is not a a Cardiff City player, if he wants to be remember fondly he should leave.

If he wants to be respected ad a coach he should leave. All signs point to the exit door,
